To those who know me and those who don’t, my name is Demontae Hughlett. I’m a father to three beautiful babies who are my entire world. On October 8th, our family’s world was shattered when our baby boy, who was only three months old, was taken from us due to what we believe now was SIDS

He was our sunshine, always smiling, laughing, and bringing light to everyone around him. He loved his mommy and daddy time, and the joy he gave us in his short time here can never be replaced.

As a parent, this is a pain I can’t even begin to describe. We’re trying to stay strong for our other children while also trying to make sense of a loss that no family should ever have to face.
