De'Moni's Road to Recovery

This beautiful, happy 9 year old boy is De'Moni Rose. On July 3rd he took a bad fall down the stairs and hit his head pretty hard. After an MRI of the brain, they discovered a tumor on his brain stem. De'Moni was sent to Boston Children's hospital where more testing showed that the tumor is cancer (further testing is in progress to determine the type and severity of it). But what they know right now is that the tumor is inoperable. He will have to undergo chemotherapy and radiation treatments. The tumor can affect his speech, movements, breathing and pretty much anything in his neurological system.

De'Moni's journey is just beginning and it is going to be a very long road for him and his family. His Mom and Dad are by his side every step of the way and they are going to need lots of support right now! This is a beautiful young family that has already gone through many adversities and have managed to stick together through it all. De'Moni is a happy, silly, beautiful little boy with a big heart and he is the best big brother to his little sister! He loves basketball and video games!
