Studio Equipment Emergency Funds
Yá'át'ééh! My name is Demian DinéYazhi' and I am an artist/writer/curator living in Portland, Oregon. I am raising funds solely for the purpose of replacing equipment that was ruined due to water damage. Unfortunately, this could not have happened at a worse time for my personal budget and living expenses, and it also greatly impacts funds needed to produce work for upcoming exhibitions, workshops, and travel. All of which are critical components that drive my ability to be a functioning and working artist in a competitive art field.
Given the current circumstances, I am unable to function as a practicing artist without setting up this emergency fund. I am kindly ask for any financial support to help me get back on my feet and repair as much damage as possible. In return, if requested, I will assemble a small care package as a thank you, OR exchange freelance services for design work, photography, or writing/poetry. I greatly appreciate anything you are able to spare, if even that means sharing this with your community.
