We write this with a humble and broken heart on behalf of our sister, auntie, daughter and dear friend, Dana Johnson. She and her daughters lost their best friend, husband and daddy, De Mario Johnson on June 24, 2021. He was committed to his family, friends, and work in the community as a law enforcement officer. Everyone who knew him was touched by his light and joy. His tragic death created a gaping hole as he left earth to go to his heavenly home. This loss impacted all who knew and loved him in a profound way. This unexpected, horrific, and devastating loss has emotional and financial burdens that no one would ever want to or should have to endure. As our family heals, we ask for prayers and love.

De Mario left behind his beautiful wife Dana and their two precious daughters. As a community, we cannot fix this loss, but we can provide love, prayers, and financial support to those left behind tasked with picking up the pieces of this family.
