DeMaira Dance Studios Covid 19 Recovery Fund

My husband and I bought Elysse School of Dance an opened DeMaira Dance Studios, Inc. 13 years ago.   We knew there would be challenges in operating a small business but we never imagined that we would be faced with the difficulties and restraints of a pandemic.  In order to keep our business open and our teachers employed we find ourselves in a position where we must ask for donations.  Our dance class enrollment is at an all-time low.  The classes we are running have limited capacity.  We did not raise the tuition this year.  We have been holding various fundraisers, but it simply is not enough.  We have secured loans and are doing all we can to keep our school afloat, our teachers working and providing a happy and safe learning environment for our students,  however we need help.  Any amount no matter how big or how small is greatly appreciated.  Our dance school provides a place to exercise, be creative and expressive, learn new moves, see friends; it's an outlet for many, a "normal" activity when so much is not normal right now.  We have even been able to produce socially-distant, live dance shows with small groups of dancers in a theater.  We know our students value this experience and look forward to it.  Your donation will go towards business operation expenses such as rent and utility payments.  Your donations will keep our teachers employed.  Your donations will help to guarantee a place for children, teens and adults to cultivate their dance skills, raise their self-esteem, exercise and bring joy to so many who genuinely need it.  We realize that there are many people out there who are having a difficult time.   We THANK YOU for taking the time to read our story and making a contribution.  We are so grateful you have chosen to support our dance school.   We wish everyone health & happiness.  Thank you so much.
