Help Dema and her family survive and rebuild their lives

Hi, I am Dema from Gaza. I am 19 years old. I have 4 sisters and two brothers.

I spent most of my childhood and youth in wars. I had very big dreams and ambitions that were destroyed by the war. I finished high school with a grade of 95%. I was very happy because I would finally achieve my dream and study a good specialty. Unfortunately, I did not complete my university studies because of the war and I had a project. Special for handicrafts four years ago. I worked a lot to develop it. I had many printers and machines, but they were all destroyed by the war.

After the war began we were forced to move from our home in Khuza’a to a shelter in Abasan. From there we had to move again to a school shelter in Khan Yunis. We were displaced a third time back to Abasan, and now to a tent in Rafah. This is our life. Everything we strive for is destroyed by wars. What is our fault for living through all this? We have lost everything we own. My father also worked a lot to build our beautiful house. We only lived in it for one month, and the war came to destroy our warm home, destroy us, and destroy our memories. My father lost his home, his job, his money, and everything he owned.

Since the war began I have been helping other displaced Gazans, including many children, with donations of food, bedding, shelter and toys. Now I am asking anyone who can help to donate to this personal fundraiser which will help me and my family to survive and rebuild our lives here in Gaza. In the short term we will use them for day to day survival in the camp where we are living. Longer term we will use the money to find housing and for the completion of my studies.
