Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio – Keep the Fun Going!
Donation protected
Like so many others, we are struggling because of the crisis, and we need your help.
Our Music-Filled World #HELPUSHELPYOU $1, $3, $5 no donation is too small
My name is Amy Novo, and as the owner of Novo Productions, Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, and Efu Publishing, I have made it my mission to put more money into artists' pockets, to allow musicians to focus on what they do best, to bring artists and fans closer, and to help the music community at large in whatever way possible. We are all in this together, afterall.
Music really touches people in a way that nothing else can, and at a time like this, this connection is so important to keeping spirits up. I have committed myself to fostering strong connections between the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio and the fans, not only by producing live music that fans enjoy, but also by hosting games and engaging fans on social media, allowing people to get to know the members of the band. At the same time, I want to support all artists, venues, promoters, and fans – everyone who makes the music community what it is.
After watching my husband Delvon lug around a 400-pound Hammond B3 organ for years on end, making little money and playing more out of passion than anything else, I decided to step in. I told him that if he recruited a few musicians and wrote some songs, I would take care of the rest. With this, in 2015, Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio was born. By 2016, they released their debut album Close but No Cigar. Just a year later, they signed with Colemine Records, releasing Concussion/Memphis on 45, and followed that by re-release Close but No Cigar the year after that. By 2018, they recorded their second full album, Live at KEXP, and their single "Fo Sho" dropped early in 2020. Just released on all digital platforms "Inner City Blues" a cover by Marvin Gaye which is the flip side of "FO SHO"
The music that Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio plays defies classification, spanning genres such as jazz, soul, funk, and rock, and it is probably most accurate just to say that they play music that makes you feel good! The chemistry between the musicians, not to mention their entertaining banter, is hard to forget. It's probably best if you check it out yourself if you haven't already:

A Word about the Current Crisis
Coronavirus has, of course, disrupted all our lives. Many people are trying to hold onto some semblance of normalcy, and it is not clear when real normalcy will come back. Businesses all around the country face months of uncertainty, many already dipping far into the savings that they had set aside for a rainy day. We feel for these businesses, and we empathize with them. Although we are confident that everything will work out in the long term, we cannot help but see our dwindling reserves and wonder how long the long term really is. We can't help but ask the urgent questions, like when will everything work out?
Where We Stand Today
Currently my band and I are at a crossroads. Like so many others, we are up against a challenge unlike any we have ever faced, a challenge that looks a lot more like a bottomless pit than anything else. For the first time ever, all our shows have been rescheduled for the end of the year and even pushed into 2021. All of our plans and all of our money have disappeared overnight, and there is no telling when it will reappear. For the time being, we feel like we are completely without the leg-up that we need.

Seeing the Big Picture
There are, of course, other artists who are in the same position that we are in. We respect all these artists, and we feel their pain. At a time when there is so much suffering going around, we know what music could mean to people – if only it were available to them. This only adds to the frustration that we are experiencing, though, because we are far apart and unable to play together, unable to stream together, unable to record together. We need to figure a way out of this. (we have been able to get together safely only twice since our quarentine back in February for the sole purpose of streaming for all of you)
Our Vision for the Future
We intended to hold off on making this announcement, but in light of the circumstances, we thought that everyone should know: we have hired the talented Dan Weiss to be our full-time drummer. He is going to make an outstanding addition to the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, just as soon as we get everyone back together.
Earning our income solely off our music, we foresee zero money over the next several months. While we cannot solve this directly, we need some outside support to keep going. Unless we can raise some funding, there is no telling how low we are all going to sink. We are doing everything in our power to keep our music alive for all of you through Live Streams whether individually or as a band (safely of course and if it is allowed in our States)
Our Fundraising Goal
We are turning to you for support. Our goal through this campaign is to raise enough money that would help cover some of our living costs, monthly business bills, travel costs to and from to do live streams together as a band, expenses, food, and to hopefully save money to be prepared to hit the road again to tour and play music for all of you. Unfortunately, all our money for touring has depleted and has left with nothing. We all have exhausted all our means to get the help that we can individually and that is why we are reaching out to you.
We have a high demand from fans all over the world for merchandise, but the cost to re-print our sold out merch and ship it, is out of our means. As much as that pains us to say no, we are not able to at this time.
In recognition of how widespread this crisis is, we also plan to donate 10% of everything we raise to other artists who have lost their income recently. This will be determined by nominations from people who know of an artist that is struggling. Depending on how much we have to give will determine how many artists we can help
Make your contribution now and help us keep the music alive!
Spread the Word!

From the bottoms of our hearts, we thank you. We appreciate you taking the time to read about our hardships and our plans from here on out.
ALL DONORS will receive a personalized package in the mail showing our thanks!
(an message will be sent to each donor to get necessary info to ship your special gift. please be patient as during these strange times things do not happen as quickly as we like)
