Hello! We are an established crew of independent filmmakers based in Vancouver, Canada.
Currently finished to shoot the short film about the paths of two people, Tim and Elesha, crossing - both existing through life, maybe open to connection in an unlikely meeting of realities. Ww are in the process of post-production and still need 800$! Please, support!
SYNOPSIS:
Delusional (drama), 2023. A young man shares his theories about the world with a waitress. What if they are smarter than the government anticipates? What if they can change the world because they know something that other people don’t? Does Elesha have strength to continue with her life as she knows it? Will Tim be okay?
Our CREW:
Kateryna Kologryva - DIRECTOR:
Is an experienced indie producer who began her art career with organizing festivals in the forest. She grew up in Crimea, lived in China during COVID and traveled to 51 country. In short, she is CRAZYly unique, and we love it. The last film Kate produced was premiered at the 27th Reel Asian Festival in Toronto.
Vincent Barre - DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY:
Is a talented lighting artist from France, who worked on major features such as Underwater, the Call of the Wild, Cruella and Disney’s Dumbo and The Nutcracker. Vincent began his career working in the theatre and wants to bring this expertise on set.
Alice Winton - ASSOCIATE PRODUCER:
Is an organized Aussie who has worked in every filmmaking department. Having majored in marketing, this Melburnian power will bring the film to the right hands, when the time comes.
Our CAST:
Lead Male Character - TIM - is played by Kenneth.
Tim is a romantic student (well, an ex-student), who studied physics and became… inspired by it. He is innocent, he is wonderful. Tim goes through hard struggles but he is more relatable than we may realize.
Lead Female Character - Elesha - is played by Runa Write.
Elesha works at the diner for 12 hours per day. Nothing seems to surprise her, she is just genuinely tired. There’s a factor that brings meaning to her life, however, and so she goes on. With a smile on her face, of course.

Our whole crew (15 people + cast) for this film is phenomenal! We would be happy to raise money to send small honorariums for their hard work.
The cost of food, locations, insurance, vehicles and equipment rental rounds out the total budget to $3,000 CAD. All of which helps us cover the cost of creating this short film in a meaningful cinematic style, and a safe working environment for our cast and crew.
