DELULU is a social discovery app designed to get people off their phones and interacting face-to-face.

Go Findable, choose your Blast Radius, and DELULU lets you know when another Findable person is nearby. You can Wave. If they Wave back, you can chat — but the point is to show up.

No endless swiping. No precise locations shared. No algorithm deciding who you should meet or why.

DELULU is about discovery: people, groups, activities, plans and eventually venues creating real-world opportunities to interact.

I’m Simon — a software engineer, builder and 100% single parent of two teenagers. I’ve spent more than 20 years building things for the web, and I’m now building DELULU because I think technology can do more than capture our attention. It can help give some of it back.

The first version is already in development. I’m raising funds to help take DELULU through real-world testing, safety and privacy work, infrastructure, closed beta and ultimately an iOS and Android launch.

The first goal isn't millions of users.

It’s getting DELULU onto real phones, putting real people in the same Blast Radius and seeing what happens when we give them permission to say hello.
