Hi, my name is Haley. I'm starting this GoFundMe as a last resort of sorts to get the funds I need to treat my cat, Delta's chronic ear infection. This isn't something I'm proud of doing, but with the rising costs of literally everything lately, I simply do not have enough right now to pay for a vet visit. I also cannot turn to family, as they also are barely staying afloat as it is.

Let me tell you a bit about Delta. She's ten years old and she and her sister Luna are my everything. I've had them both since they were kittens. Sometime last year, Delta developed her first ear infection. It seemed to come and go until summer, where it got so bad she was crying while scratching at her ears, causing them to bleed day in and day out. I took her to urgent care and they cleaned her up, gave her a shot to help with the itching, and prescribed some antibiotic ear drops for her that worked wonderfully. Today, I'm dealing with the same problem. I've been trying to manage it with what little ear drops I had left, coconut oil to soothe her scabs, and I recently bought an ear flush that the vet had recommended.

None of it is enough. She needs to see a vet and be prescribed a full regimen of antibiotics again. Her ears are raw and scratched bald. She cries if I try to stop her from scratching till she bleeds. It's absolutely gut-wrenching to see her in so much pain and not be able to soothe her. So that's why I've started this GoFundMe. I've chosen $450 as the goal to both cover the vet visit (hopefully) and the fees set up by GoFundMe. If there are any funds left, they will go towards either a refill of her prescription or other cat supplies like food and litter. Anything helps and I cannot say thank you enough to anyone generous enough to donate, even if it's only $1.
