Hi all,
I want to start by saying thank you for visiting my page. Your interest really means a lot to me. In October 2019, I adopted Delsin and her sister Reggie while I was experiencing a turbulent time in my life. They were 8 weeks old, and they've been with me ever since. If you follow me on social media, you know they're all I post about - they really are my little fur babies.
While I was at work this morning, Delsin had to be taken to the animal hospital. I'm not sure what happened to her though the working theory is that she was attacked by a raccoon. She's currently suffering from:
-a missing tooth
-several missing claws
-hip and tail abrasions
-a sliced open stomach
The vet wasn't sure she was going to make it though it looks like she's going to pull through as she doesn't appear to have any damage to her internal organs. The x-rays, stitching, and several nights in intensive care are the most expensive parts of her treatment.
