Hello, my name is Christy Koel. Mrs. Spaid was my fourth grade teacher at Hills-Beaver Creek Elementary School. Her daughter, Penni, is my dearest friend. Deloris passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls.

I am fundraising for Penni as she mourns the loss of her Mom. Mrs. Spaid was a kind, loving, vivacious woman who will be dearly missed.

Penni is struggling to cope with the loss of her Mom, both emotionally and financially. I am praying our wonderful communities of Luverne and Hills-Beaver Creek come together in my friend's time of need.

The funds raised will be used to cover the expense of the funeral and the funeral home fees.
