I am writing this with a heavy heart to share the passing of our mother, Delores Chavez, who passed away on August 31, 2025. As we plan her funeral, we are facing unexpected expenses and humbly seek support from our family and friends during this difficult time. If you are able, any contribution - no matter the size - would greatly help us honor our mother Delores with a meaningful farewell. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She opened her door to everyone! She took everyone in, including homeless people; she fed everyone; she took care of other people's children; she cooked for people's weddings, funerals, and baby showers, never asking or expecting anything in return. She was a strong follower of Christ. Our family is heartbroken and was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service.
