On the morning of September 4, 2022, Mandy and her boys suffered the tragic loss of Dustin, their loving and doting husband and father. As you can imagine, the grief is overwhelming. There are so many unknowns for them as they navigate day by day and adjust to exist without the love, support and interaction from this amazing man. Just last night, watching the Auburn football game without him in “his” favorite spot on the couch was excruciating. Everyday will hopefully sting a little less, but it is hard. Dustin and Mandy were married for 26 years. He always worked hard to provide for her, but it now rests on her shoulders. The financial unknowns are the one thing that her closest friends and family do not want her to have to worry about at this time. There are many needs that need to be met. Mandy will have to take care of the health insurance, mortgage, car payments, utilities and all day to day necessities, while showing up for herself and her boys emotionally as they try to heal.
