Delivery Driver Attacked – Support My Recovery
Donation protected
My name is Teagan Scott, and on March 22, 2025, while working a Domino’s delivery shift in Reisterstown, Maryland, I was assaulted outside my workplace while delivering customer orders.
The customer who attacked me made repeated death threats (“Do you want to d*e today? I have a g*n. I will k*ll you”), then punched me multiple times in the head and face, breaking my glasses and leaving me with lasting injuries and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
I immediately called 911, cooperated with Baltimore County Police (Case #25-081-0011, Officer Coleman, Badge #6396), and have been in ongoing treatment with Dr. Meghan Barry for both the physical and psychological effects.
Despite following every procedure, my employer terminated my job a month later.
Since then, I have been unable to work, with no income while I await a workers’ compensation hearing (Case #W249051) later this year.
The company and its insurer are disputing my claim, leaving me without financial support during the months of recovery.
Why I’m Asking for Help
I am raising funds to cover basic survival costs until my October 21, 2025 hearing. I’m not asking for extras — just the essentials I need to keep going while I recover and continue treatment.
Here’s my monthly breakdown:
Housing & Utilities (car + phone bills) $510/mo $1,530/total
Food & Groceries $173/mo $520/total
Gas / Transportation $130/mo $390/total
Medical (therapy, psychiatry, medication) $108/mo $325/total
Essential Bills (phone, internet, services) $52/mo $155/total
Other recurring (subscriptions) $31/mo $93/total
Total Needed $974/mo $2,921/total
With GoFundMe’s platform fees and the likelihood of unexpected medical expenses, my starting goal is $3,500.
Closing
This assault turned my life upside down. I went from earning a living to suddenly facing PTSD, unemployment, and a long legal battle. Your help will make it possible for me to cover treatment, eat, get to appointments, and keep my bills current while I wait for justice.
Every contribution — whether it’s $10 toward a therapy session or $100 toward bills — makes a direct difference. And if you can’t donate, even sharing this campaign helps me reach others who might be able to.
Thank you for taking the time to read, for your compassion, and for any support you can offer.
