Our hope and vision with this fundraiser is to provide each of Emerson's 18 classrooms with a share of produce throughout this year's growing season. With your donation, we can not only give classrooms fresh vegetables but encourage a curriculum that integrates land-based ideals with the formal lessons of public education.
If you would like to specify the classroom you are interested in sponsoring, please do so in the comments of the fundraiser.
Emerson Farm is a one-acre farm on the property of Emerson Elementary. The farm's goal is to provide fresh, chemical-free produce to the Emerson neighborhood while encouraging community involvement and connection to local food systems.
Members of the Emerson Farm CSA (community-supported agriculture) program pay for a share of vegetables delivered to their door every week during the season.
Emerson Farm is managed and operated by Emerson Foundation, Tulsa and Restoration Collective, Inc.
