Charles Ingalls better known as CharlestheFirst was a beloved music producer and dj associated with the Tahoe/Reno/ Bay Area. His unique style of bass music propelled him to the mountain top quickly and he was widely loved and appreciated in his short time here on Earth. When he passed, I was moved to create a 24 x 36” acrylic painting to honor the life of Charles and help people grieve and heal. As part of my recent “Look Inside Yourself” series, I posted a time-lapse video and photos of the piece in progress, which garnered an overwhelming amount of support and requests for prints. I have also had several close friends of his reach out to me in hopes of acquiring a print or even the original painting to gift his mother Beth.

I’ve created this Gofundme to help get prints made and allow for this painting to be compensated and delivered to Charles’ mom and family on the night of the memorial. The goal amount represents my minimal time and supply costs that went into making the painting and prints, and will also support my effort to get to Reno and deliver it in person. Once the goal is reached the amount raised after will be used to make a donation  to the family once all shipping costs are covered. I know Charles was adored by many who loved his music and warm spirit. I am asking for the support of community to help deliver this painting of Charles home to his mother and friends ❤️
