Hey family and friends! ‍ As you all may know Delinda Hower (My mom) was diagnosed with a Grade 4 Glioblastoma, brain cancer. Glioblastoma is a rare cancer that only effects 20% of people.

In June of 2022, mom started experiencing nausea and fatigue. As things got worse we were in and out of ER’s and primary care. Thanksgiving week mom was rushed to downtown for brain surgery to remove a GRAPEFRUIT size tumor on her right side of her brain. Needless to say Thanksgiving wasn’t like any Thanksgiving that we wanted to spend.

Fast forward to 2023, mom is under going rounds of chemo and radiation. Her journey doesn’t end after that, she’s going to need to have MRIs about every 4 to 6 weeks. She will have two rounds of chemo, countless Doctor visits and radiation via cap after her initial radiation!

Mom (Delinda) is a superhero though and a strong woman. We will put up a great fight against this cancer. Though unfortunately, this cancer will not go away. We can only slow it down with continued treatments!
