Delilah’s medication and helmet

Hi I’m Jodie Delilah’s mum , Delilah is autistic and struggles daily yesterday we had to attend ANE due to her hitting her head , this has become an issue especially in the last few months autistic children tend to headbang but due to the high demand in assessments for adhd we’re looking at six years to get her diagnosed with adhd to get her medication to help her and OT haven’t yet prescribed her with a fitted helmet as there is “insufficient evidence “we did purchase one off Amazon but she doesn’t feel comfortable in it it’s needs to be a fitted helmet which a pricey she needs a diagnosed before she can have medication to help her but we cannot wait any longer , this is a danger to herself and others . She’s a beautiful girl and so clever she is currently in a SEN school who are doing everything to help . We sadly had to collect her from school to take her to the hospital as she has hit her head twice this week which has created an awful lump on her forehead . She headbangs often but now it’s getting severe .and I am worrying immensely , ‼️trigger warning ‼️ photo below

So I’m here to ask for some kindness which I don’t do often I don’t usually ask for help but we have hit a brick wall it doesn’t feel like the professionals are helping so we’ve decided we’d like to go private to get her some help as soon as possible so she can carry on being Delilah . This is my last resort , this was my last option to go private. I’m hoping people far and wide can just spare anything they can if not just to share our story . With love Delilah’s whole family ❤️
