Delilah Grace was born on September 23, 2016. At one day old she was diagnosed with tricuspid atresia, a very serious congenital heart disease. Shortly after diagnosis, she was life flighted from Casper Wyoming to Denver Colorado's children's hospital. She underwent open heart surgery late in October and has spent the past three weeks hospitalized. She will need a few more surgeries over the next couple of years. She will also require routine monitoring which will mean travel from Casper Wyoming to Denver Colorado on a regular basis for cardiologist appointments. Her parents are not only faced with the emotion stress of a sick child but the financial stress that goes along with it. Missed wages from being out of work and at the hospital with Delilah, along with transportation costs and medical bills will soon begin to stack up.
