Delilah’s Last Wishes
We are raising funds to complete Delilah’s last wishes.
On the morning of November 27th, Delilah Talbot went into the universe being a beautiful mermaid. Delilah sacrificed every single day for herself, her son, and everyone she loved in order to be here one more day.
Those days helped her make it 10 years with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. She wanted everyone to smile a little more, dance a little harder, be more kind, and “do the right thing” in her memory.
As a community, we want to give Delilah the send off she asked for and fulfill all her wishes.
Delilah does not want a wake or funeral service.
Delilah wants a memorial show in her honor. She wants everyone to remember her not at the time of her passing but at the time when everyone felt the most alive with her.
Delilah’s most important final wish is that her son knows he is loved and cared for by her even when she is not able to physically be with him. She wanted her sons future to be secure. We want to help her with this final wish by creating a trust fund for his future. So let’s all get together to give her the send off she asked for and the future she wants for her son!
