Delilah (Sissy) Benjamin

Aloha.. my name is Violet Luis Fernando and I am raising funds for my niece Delilah (Sissy) Luis Benjamin to help her Benjamin ohana (family) with medical and funeral expenses.

Our Sweet Delilah(Sissy) Benjamin was the most loving, caring and full of life person you would love to know.

On July 12, while at work she experienced a bad asthma attack and went to the restroom, where she was found unconscious. When the paramedics arrived she had no pulse but after administering CPR she had a slight pulse and was rushed to the hospital. She was put on life support to run tests and to see if the swelling of her brain would go down or if she would eventually breath on her own. But, on July 23rd the doctor’s final diagnosis was that Sissy was brain dead and was not able to breath on her own. The hospital kept her on life support until July 25 where the ohana (family and friends) could bid their last “Aloha” to our “Sweet Sissy”.

This was also the day that Sissy’s wish, as a organ donor was fulfilled. As we bid her “Aloha”…

May you rest in eternal paradise our “Sweet Sissy”. Although our hearts are broken by your untimely passing, may we find some peace that by your organ donations, you were able to save three lives that day. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel.
