Delightfully Different Dylan - LGBTQ Book for Kids

Delightfully Different Dylan is an illustrated LGBTQ book for kids, families, teachers - anyone that interacts and provides guidance to younger children - about acceptance.  It follows the struggles of Dylan, who is confused about why he is treated differently and bullied, and how ultimately he learns, through the help of caring and open-minded adults, that everyone deserves to be loved and accepted.  Being "different" can mean a lot of things, and all of them are "delightful". 

As a gay kid growing up, this is the book that was missing - the one that would have made sense of so many confusing things for me.  If it can help other kids from feeling alone and sad, nothing would make me happier.

 Funds raised from this campaign will go towards the illustrations and publishing & distribution.  Contributors pledging $25.00 or more will get a copy of the book when printed; $100.00 gets you a signed copy; $1,000.00 or more and I'll come do a reading for you and your invited guests (as long as you're in the United States!).  If you're feeling especially generous, for a contribution of $5,000 or more, I will gladly dedicate the book to you to say thank you for making a dream come true.
