On September 16, 2025, our dear friend and co-worker Delbert Gladue suddenly fell ill. Just two days later, he was admitted to the hospital and immediately placed in a medically induced coma. Despite every effort from his medical team, his condition worsened, and heartbreakingly, he passed away on the evening of October 4th, at the very young age of 44.

Delbert joined the EPFC Pipe Shop crew in 2022. For those who didn’t have the chance to work with him directly, you should know that he was one of the kindest people you could ever meet—always willing to lend a hand, offer advice, and share thoughtful ideas to make things better for everyone around him. His positivity, generosity, and genuine care for others have left a lasting mark on all of us.

We’re raising funds to help his family through this unimaginable loss. We hope to ease some of the financial strain so they can focus on healing and remembering the incredible person he was. Any contribution, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated and will go directly toward the costs of his Celebration of Life and other related expenses, helping to alleviate some of the burden on the family as they grieve their loss.
