Delaware Knights Need Help To Go To Nationals

We are young woman athletes from the Delaware Knights Soccer Club in Central Ohio, and we have qualified to compete at the US Club National Championship in Denver, Colorado. In order for us to get there on July 18th, we need your help to cover the cost of travel and lodging.

We qualified for the National Tournament after winning The Ohio State Cup in May. We have worked very hard this season and we are extremely proud of our team accomplishments this year. Along with winning the State Cup Championship, we won the Nike Cup, the Ohio State Soccer League (OSSL), and the National Players League (NPL) Championships. Please support our team and help us get to Denver so we can represent Delaware, Ohio in the National Tournament!

Our Head Coach Brant Dye and Assistant Coach Josh Johnson have trained many of us since we were 8 years old. We have worked extremely hard and have been consistently ranked among the top 10 teams in the state. Our talent is apparent in our record despite receiving little recognition for our achievements due to our club’s small size. This type of opportunity is rare for a club this size and is an important step in the pathway toward collegiate recognition. Small clubs like ours often do not get the financial means, resources, or accreditation in events that attract college recruiters, making this opportunity for each of us especially meaningful. The Delaware Knights Soccer Club works hard to provide local youth with competitive level soccer programs at a fraction of the cost the other clubs charge. Our club does this by relying on highly skilled volunteer coaches who donate their time to keep the rates affordable and by asking the community for assistance in the form of sponsorships. We want to come back from Denver with National recognition for our club and for Delaware, Ohio!
