Delano's Quest to the 15th Annual Ledgestone Open

Hey everyone,

My name is Delano Dotson, and I’m a dedicated disc golfer from Ponca City, Oklahoma with a passion for competing and growing in the sport I love.

Ive been pushing myself to compete in every tournament possible and have attended 24 events this year alone.

This August, I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to compete in the 15th Annual Discraft Ledgestone Open—one of the biggest and richest tournaments in disc golf, held in Eureka, Illinois. This event draws over 2,000 competitors and is part of the Disc Golf Pro Tour, making it a dream experience for players like me.

Originally, I planned to attend with others, but due to scheduling conflicts, I’ll now be traveling and competing solo. While I’m still committed to going, I could use a little help making it all possible.

I’m raising funds to help cover travel, lodging, food, and entry-related expenses for the event. Every donation—no matter the size—goes directly toward helping me represent my community on a national stage and pursue a goal I’ve worked hard for.
