Delaney’s Travel Expenses to Mayo Clinic

Hello, My name is Melanie Pinion. My daughter, Delaney Howell has been battling with her health for the last four months, and lives in constant pain. She has seen the Cardiologist , and he has completely ruled out the heart. She has been to our Family Physician, Internal Medicine Doctor, Chiropractor, and has had 4 trips to the ER. Throughout these visits she has had no less than 12 tests run which include: Scans, X-rays, Bloodwork, Stress test and ECHOs. The only explanations we have received with these results are Musculoskeletal, or possibly Anxiety. There has not been a solid diagnosis thus far.

Delaney has become a home-bound student half way through her Senior year of high school. This has really taken a toll on her, both mentally and physically. As her mother, I’ve watched her go from a joyful, Senior/ Color Guard Captain to not being able to walk 40 feet without having excruciating pain. I’ve even had to help her bathe several times a week due to the pain accompanied by fainting spells.

It has now been suggested by her heart doctor that she go to Mayo Clinic, which will be a nine and 1/2 hour drive.

just as soon as we are financially able we will start the journey. Medical bills are mounting up, and now we have the extra expense of traveling. I am humbly reaching out for help with our travel and medical expenses. Please know we are so thankful for all the continued prayers, and we would be grateful for donations of any amount. Whatever your decision, will you please be in agreement in prayer with our family for future doctors, nurses, our travels, answers, and complete healing in Jesus name.
