Delaney Seizure Assistance Dog
Don protégé
Delaney Forsyth was recently diagnosed with epilepsy, after years of non-convulsive (focal) seizures going untreated by misdiagnosis by medical professionals that have caused multiple Grand Mal seizures. Grand Mal seizures are rare with less than 200,000 US cases per year. Part of Delaney’s journey to regain her independence and get her life back is getting a seizure assistance pup, but it’s a very extensive and expensive training. Seizure response/assistance dogs can Do things such as : activating a life-alert system, help guard Delaney in public places if she has a seizure, retrieve a phone or stimulate a person during a seizure, be a brace to help her up, get help and retrieve food and medication after a seizure. We all love Delaney and appreciate any contribution you can make.
