Delaina Needs Our Help and Our Love
Donation protected
The night of Monday the 25th Delaina was viciously attacked and ripped out of her apartment by two random assailants in Denver, CO. Delaina had her first floor balcony opened just enough so that Cowboy (her dog) could enjoy the cool breeze. She fell asleep and was woken up by two women laughing and Cowboy yelping. One of the women had kicked Cowboy in the face, so Delaina promptly got up opened her shades and asked the two women why they had kicked her dog. The two women came barreling toward Delaina screaming expletives and taunting her. She had no time to respond, they were quickly at her balcony and one of the women sucker punched Delaina in the face and she began struggling to defend herself and stay inside her home. The two women grabbed Delaina by her hair and clothing and pulled her over her 4ft balcony onto the sidewalk where they began kicking, punching, and slamming her head onto the ground. Delaina was fighting to stay alive. Both women beat Delaina for several minutes resulting in a trip to the hospital with a severe concussion, lacerations to the head and face, a bruised and swollen right eye, cuts and bruises to her hands, knees, and ankles, and bruised ribs. While we know the physical wounds will heal, Delaina has a long road of recovery to deal with what has happened. She is unable to work, had to move everything from her apartment into storage, and get out of Denver to heal with family.
She needs your help paying for the ambulance ride, hospital bills, doctors appointments to come, and therapy appointments. We want her to be able to rest and not worry about the financial burden of getting the care she needs to heal. Funds will also go to help her move on from this and find a new place to relocate because she no longer feels safe in Denver, sadly. She really loved Denver and the new adventure that awaited her but this tragic event changed all that. We understand times are hard for everyone, if you cannot donate please keep her in your prayers.
