Del&Cindy- Rowlett tornado disaster

Hello, my name is Taylor Rodriguez. The youngest out of three daughters to Del and Cindy Andrew.

December 26th 2016 my parents were victims from the tornado that struck Rowlett Tx. This was a home I spent most of my childhood at and for 17 years it stood strong. Today my neighborhood looks like a war zone. Like something out of a movie.
Heart breaking doesn't even begin to justify this feeling & devastation is a understatement. If you know where the Rowlett water tower is and have seen the images on Facebook of the house next to it- you're looking at our home!
My mom & dad own their own pool business but all of the equipment was destroyed as well as my moms truck. We're not certain if dels truck is drivable but there is major damage done. The house will have to be rebuilt. Windows busted, looking up into what was once a roof over their heads is now the cold sky, and on top of the house being destroyed most of the remains that could've been savable have now been soaking in water due to the flood and are now ruined along with causing the roof to cave in and collapse.

This neighborhood was evacuated today due to the water tower being unstable so the only chance of getting their belongs were none.
I am collecting donations to replace pool equipment and possibly another form of transportation if needed. (So they can get back to work immediately & pull through this nightmare) My parents are also in need of the plastic storage containers so they can just get what ever they have left and put it in storage (cardboard boxes wouldn't help because everything is soaked and would break/ desolate once lifted.)

But most of all my family asks from all of you weather you can give or not... PRAY. Pray for the families who lost loved ones, pray for the ones who lost their home. Pray for the ones who lost everything. Pray for Rowlett Tx.❤️

I will update frequently keeping everyone up to date with my parents (Del and Cindy) and the journey to recovering from this natural disaster.
