My name is Deke Dude and I just survived a major infection in my chest. It was between my lungs and ribs. The Doctor said I most likely got poked by a stick and it took months to over a year to migrate into my chest. I had emergency open chest surgery. They split my sternum, opened me up, and cleaned up a mess. About 12hrs after surgery I went into A-fib, they administer meds and shocked me with a defibrillator. After that I have been climbing the ladder of recovery very quickly.
