It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Deja Devine Alston. On October 8, 2022 Deja went to sleep and did not wake up. There are few words to express the deep pain and sorrow we all feel losing Deja. She was a privilege to know and to love. Although Deja’s life ended before we were ready, the time we spent in her life was memorable and full of joy. We are mourning the life of our, daughter, sister, mom, niece, cousin and friend. We know she would want us to find solace in knowing she is no longer suffering. We also know Deja was a free spirit and she would want us to celebrate her, so that’s what we’re going to do. We would appreciate your help in creating a memorable farewell in celebration of Deja’s life. We thank you all for your kind words love and support.
