Deirdre and Mitch - financial relief for medical

Hi, my name is Amy and I'm starting this go fund me for my best friend Deirdre and her fiance Mitch. Mitch has been battling head and neck cancer for almost 2 years and is now starting a new treatment next week, as of now, nothing has worked to get rid of this BEAST. Despite all the prayers and positive vibes, Mitch has endured massive facial surgery including complete tongue removal and reconstruction, 100+ lymph nodes removed on 12/20, feeding tubes, speech therapy, biopsies, chemo, scans, radiation and immunotherapy. Now, palliative care is involved. Deirdre is working full time with 2 small children at home. My Goddaughter Kenidee (6) and Remington (3). Mitch also has 5 other children that are very close to him and are witnessing their Dad suffer through this illness. Tubes, pain, unable able to eat or speak most days. It's certainly been a toll on everyone involved, especially Mitch. Deirdre is driving him to Boston for appointments, treatments, scans, labs and more weekly. New scans have been done and it's still not gone!!!! She's never asked for anything in this whole world, ever. She's humble and prays daily for something to work, for this all to heal. I worry about her constantly, as my best friend, sister from another mister, as a mother, as a friend and as a human being. I don't know how she's dealing with this, but I do know its all with grace and dignity for her entire family. Let's ease their financial burden a bit, any amount is absolutely amazing!! It will help with the little things AND the big things. Gas and food, copays and medicine!!
