Degenerate Art Ensemble NEW WORK and TOURING

After an outstanding and sold-out first iteration of Degenerate Art Ensemble's newest work-in-progress, Anima Mundi - Amnesia, at the Seattle International Dance Festival, we are fundraising to support the work's continued development and to help us tour two additional projects Skeleton Flower, and Boy mother / faceless bloom.

Now that we have presented our first work-in-progress at the Baryshnikov Arts Center and the Seattle International Dance Festival, we are ready to dive deep into the development of this work. Work on the project will include video production for additional projected elements, as well as a ton more music and movement.

Juni One Set - Boy mother / faceless bloom

Our collaboration (under the group name Juni One Set) with 2023 Nasher Prize sculptor Senga Nengudi and renowned musician/performer eddy kwon will have its New York premiere in November of this year at New York Live Arts!!! For this, our team will spend a month in New York revising the show and gearing up for the three-night engagement.

Skeleton Flower

March of 2024's performance of Skeleton Flower at ODC Theater San Francisco will mark our first performance of the work in California since we brought the piece as a tiny intimate work-in-progress in 2018 to Red Poppy in San Francisco and Automata in Los Angeles. The work has grown tremendously and we can't wait to share it in its fullness with our California fans!!!
