Medical bills, expenses

On October 20th, my dad was admitted to Poplar Bluff Regional. He would kill me for ever making one of these, because he would never ask anyone for anything, he would give his shirt off his back to anyone. He was admitted for Sepsis Shock, caused from Olecranon Bursitis infection in his elbow. The infection has traveled throughout his body, sending him into surgery late last night to open his arm to try to reduce and drain the infection. Once out of surgery, he went into V TAC, causing a heart attack, and resulting in him being shocked. They did not expect for him to make it last night, and my family was called in. He surprised us and his vitals stabled out. He’s far from out of the woods at this point, because today he is facing kidney failure, and his liver is taking a hit. He is on the ventilator, and possibly facing losing his arm. He goes for a second surgery tomorrow, in hopes of helping the infection, unless the arm has to be amputated. They want to start kidney dialysis, but everything is just a waiting game at this point. We are still facing losing him at this point. If amputating the arm needs done, then he will need to be air evacced out. He has no insurance whatsoever. My mom is the main income, and she is not able to leave his side. We are facing tons of medical bills, hotel bills, as my mom is not able to stay the night in the ICU and he took a turn for the worse within minutes last night. We would never ask anyone for help, but at this point, we’re running out of options. I know he has tons of friends, and plenty of family that want to help and this would be a great help. If you are not able to help financially, prayers are greatly appreciated as he needs all he can get.
