My good friend Stephanie has three gorgeous little boys, two of whom have a serious heart condition called Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.
This causes their heart wall to thicken, which, at a bare minimum, makes it harder for the heart to pump the blood around the body.
There is no cure and this condition can worsen with age, so their Cardiologist has now told them that for Lewis (age 9), the time has come to keep a defibrillator at home, school, or basically nearby, wherever they go.
I really wanted to do something to help Steph and her family, who I know have huge medical expenses due to not only this, but other medical conditions within their family.
Defibrillators aren't cheap, at around $2500 per machine, so my goal is to raise enough money for Steph to purchase two - one for home and one for when they are out and about.
Hopefully they will never have to use it, but I'd like them to have peace of mind that they are always prepared.
Please help me raise enough money to achieve this goal. Your support is greatly appreciated.
