Defibrillators for everyone

LOOKING FOR HELP AND SUPPORT FROM OUR LOCAL BUSINESSES AND THE COMMUNITY.

As most people will be well aware of the awful incident at the Euros involving danish footballer Christian Erickson having a cardiac arrest. Christian received CPR within a few minutes and was brought back to life by the medical team and doctors with one zap using a defibrillator, something the doctors have confirmed brought Christian back. Thank goodness Christian is alive and is making good progress so far in hospital.

Now since this happened I’ve read a lot of different story’s about people of all ages being saved using the vital defibrillators after having a cardiac arrest.

With this so important it got me thinking and I’ve since been doing some research which has astounded me by the lack of these machines locally in Nuneaton and the surrounding areas.

These defibrillators can save so many peoples life’s of ALL ages!!

Now this is where I need support, I’m going to be making contact with as many local businesses as I can aiming to raise a minimum of £20000 which in turn will buy 20 defibrillators with all the relevant signage and instructions on how to operate them if required.

I want to be able to donate these to local schools, pubs, sporting facilities, children’s place centres, local chemists etc that don’t have these already in place.

I will also be making sure that everyone is aware of where the nearest defibrillator was to the area they live in by setting up a page where you can locate all defibrillators near to you.

This is honestly something I believe we as a local community should already have in place and ALL defibrillators should be available to locate just by using google.
