Defibrillator for local pub

On Tuesday the 8th of June my world stood still when My wife Bryony went into cardiac arrest whilst we were sat at home. Bryony was kept alive whilst we waited for medical staff due to the quick thinking of myself , the local pub owner and a passing postman  performing CPR.
Luckily the ambulance arrived within 7 minutes and Medical staff used a defibrillator on Bryony. After a long agonising 20 minutes  Bryony's heart started pumping again.

Bryony is a 33 year old non smoker who lives a healthy lifestyle , so this proves that nobody is safe from a cardiac arrest. Bryony had an ICD fitted into her heart and is on the road to Recovery.
If we would’ve had access to a defibrillator in Bryonys time of need we could have saved her in a more efficient way and we wouldn’t of had to wait for days to know she was ok. She also suffered another cardiac arrest the following day but because she was in hospital at the time the medical staff revived her within 5 minutes . The quicker a person is resuscitated the less chance there is of brain damage and every minute saved raises the survival chance by 10 percent. So this is why we have set up a go fund me to raise money to buy a defibrillator for our local pub. Dave who runs the saddlers arms was the person who helped me, so we would like to raise funds to help his pub have access to a defibrillator which may be able to save the life of another person in this situation.

as you may have seen recently the footballer Christian Eriksen went through the same thing but had a defibrillator used on him immediately and made a full recovery. We just want to give others the same fighting chance that Christian Erickson had with access to a defibrillator.
