Defib for Minster School in memory of John Usher
Donation protected
John Usher suffered a cardiac arrest at the beginning of November and, despite the best efforts of paramedics and the local Air Ambulance crew, he could not be revived. John's classmates from his years at SMGS, 1969 - 1976, have decided to purchase a defibrillator machine for The Minster School, in memory of their much loved friend. John was a chorister, keen sportsman and fine artist. The monies being raised will be used to purchase the defib machine and a suitable weatherproof cabinet. Any additional funds will be donated equally between The British Heart Foundation and RNLI (a charity which John supported).
