Hi, my name is Amy Phan West, and I proudly serve as an elected Councilwoman for the City of Westminster. Today, I am reaching out not just as an elected official, but as a wife, a mother, and a woman who has spent the last four years fighting to serve her community while enduring relentless unethical attacks, intimidation, and isolation.
I am currently facing wrongful accusations and a coordinated effort to silence me. I am being blocked from speaking at city events, stripped of opportunities to represent the residents who elected me, and dragged into court in an attempt to limit my voice and force me to pay costly attorney fees.
Behind the scenes, the emotional toll has been devastating. There are nights I lie awake unable to sleep, overwhelmed by stress and anxiety caused by these unethical attacks. Some days, I cannot even eat because of the pressure and constant attacks. The environment I have been forced to work in has become toxic and hostile. As the only woman on the dais, I have endured bullying, humiliation, discrimination, and relentless harassment from members of the council and the mayor simply for standing firm in my beliefs and refusing to be silenced.
But this fight is bigger than me.
If powerful people can silence and target a sitting councilwoman for speaking out, what happens to everyday citizens who do not have a platform or a voice? What message does this send to women, immigrants, mothers, and anyone willing to stand up against corruption or intimidation?
I refuse to back down because I believe our community deserves leaders who are willing to fight for truth, fairness, and accountability — no matter the cost.
Today, I humbly ask for your help. Your donation is not just helping me pay legal expenses. It is helping defend free speech, protect public accountability, and send a message that bullying and political retaliation will not win.
Please donate today and stand with me in this fight for justice. Every contribution, every prayer, and every act of support gives me strength to keep going. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with me and my family during one of the hardest battles of my life.
