Hi all - me again! You were all so generous when I started fundraising for Dee’s wig before she started chemotherapy. It was amazing for her confidence and helped her through a very tricky time.

Due to Dee’s original diagnosis the next best line of treatment for her isn’t covered on the NHS. Doctors have expressed their frustrations too as she does have incurable stage 4 breast cancer… but only just. They have managed to treat every part of the breast with chemo, a mastectomy and radiotherapy… now all that’s left is the bit of cancer in the T6 vertebra which is what has tipped her into stage 4 (incurable). But with a type of radiotherapy called SABR (which is offered on the NHS to primary cancer patients) I KNOW… will cost her just short of £11,000, looks like it could work. After long talks with the oncologists they have said that they are so hopeful that this treatment would allow her to live with the cancer for a considerable time and they would suggest having that treatment if she is able to raise the funds.

So I’m reaching out to everyone now to help if they can to help give my absolute warrior of a sister more time, and ease the load on us just a little bit.
