Deer Rob!

Donation protected
On Tuesday September 05, 2023 my husband, Rob, was involved in a deer verses him and motorcycle accident. The deer didn't win. Unfortunately that resulted in my husband being thrown from his bike, flipping twice in the air, landing on the ground and sliding to a stop on his back at 40mph on a dirt road. He suffered every bone on his left side being broken from his pelvis to his collarbone and a lot of road rash. He is the toughest man I know so I have no doubt he will recover in a shorter amount of time than they predict. Another unfortunate variable of this is that he is the main bread winner in our family and we will undoubtedly notice the loss of his income while he recovers. He is a professional tree climber, bucket/crane operator and a skilled tree feller. When I say professional and skilled I mean he is a certified linesmen, climber, tree feller, and brothers keeper. He isn't one of these guys out there in tennis shoes and tank tops cutting with their unsharpened chainsaws and a ladder with no safety gear at all. Everyday, even on his days off, you will find him carring around heavy chainsaws and ropes to cut big ass trees down. Having said that, he is unable to return to work until he is able to perform those duties.
Anyone that knows us, knows that we are God fearing believers of the Holy Scriptures and have helped thousands of people in the 17 years we've been together because we know people deserve to feel God's grace and presence. From giving them money, buying them vehicles, housing them, feeding them, clothing them, giving scheduled rides to Dr. appointments, taking our sick and elderly in for their last days, paying for funerals, taking people out for weekend getaways, donating our time to customers that are in need at no cost, volunteering at food shelters, to winter coat giveways, you name it, we've done it. And although I hoped this day would never come, here we are and now it looks like we are the ones in need. We have plenty of food and friends to do the heavy stuff that Rob usually does, and a very small amount in savings but not enough to carry us through the next 3 months.
Our friends encouraged us to make this page and it took a lot of humbling ourselves to do it because we just aren't use to needing others financially. But life is unpredictable and although we are covered in the event of end of life with life insurance, that doesn't help if you are only injured. So we are asking for your help. No amount is too small and we ask that you pray and let God lead your heart.

Thank you in advance,
