Deepak Chinthamalla's Funeral & Family Support

The North American Telugu Society (NATS) is deeply saddened to share that our beloved friend DEEPAK CHINTHAMALLA left us on Wednesday (04/26/2023) in Tampa, FL. Deepak, 44 years old, is originally from Old Bowenpally, Hyderabad and he used to work for Centene Corporation.

He was found unconscious in his vehicle in the parking lot where he was pronounced dead on Apr 26th, 2023 and it is a significant loss to his family, friends, and community. The Tampa police called his wife Swapna Kommarraju and it was heartbreaking news for the family changed her life forever. She is devastated to have lost her soulmate and the father of her two handsome boys, Happy and Ayush, who are only 9 and 14 years old.

She never imagined being in this situation as a homemaker and dance instructor. The tragedy has left the family in shock and unprepared for the financial and emotional burden it has caused. The loss of a loved one is never easy, but it's even harder for her younger son Happy, who requires special care and has been deeply affected by Nana's(Dad) absence. While grieving, she is also struggling to cope with the mounting financial stress that comes with providing for her family's needs, including care for Happy and Ayush, their education, and planning the funeral. Therefore, she reached out NATS Helpline and humbly reached out to all our community members for our kind support during this difficult time.

The NATS Helpline team has been providing necessary assistance to the family and his friends for the past few days. The family needs additional support from our community to get back on their feet and begin the healing process during these challenging times. Therefore, we have started this fundraising campaign to help cover his funeral expenses and provide near-term financial support.
