Fighting ovarian cancer
Donation protected
As most of you know, my Aunt Kim was sent to the emergency room with severe abdominal swelling on Friday November 22. The CT showed a mass on her left ovary. Oxford ER transferred her to baptist women’s in Memphis. The oncologist there decided to do surgery to remove the mass, do a complete hysterectomy, and place a port on November 25. He let us know this was stage 3 ovarian cancer. She will start chemo on December 13. She was released from the hospital on November 26 but unfortunately had to go back Friday the 29th for dehydration, a twisted bowel and an abscess. She will have surgery in the morning December 3 to drain the abscess, the plan for the twisted bowel is to hopefully allow it to correct itself. This diagnosis was so sudden and has left her no way to work to pay her bills. Also she will have to travel from Oxford to Memphis to do chemo every 3 weeks when she starts that. Please pray for her complete healing! We all know God is the ultimate physician and NOTHING is impossible through Him.
