On October 16th, a freak fire broke out in our friend Chris' apartment, gutting the interior and burning everything he owned to ash. Thankfully, no one was present at the time, and no humans were harmed. But Chris has not only lost all of his possessions, he's also lost his home of over 10 years.

 

Those of you who know Chris know he's a kind, selfless person who always puts others ahead of himself. He's given so much to friends and family, and the entire TMNT community. He has experienced an extremely traumatic ordeal — lets help him rebuild.

 

In addition to needing to replace everything from clothes, to furniture, to electronics. Chris is displaced from his rent-controlled Berkeley apartment and needs to find another place to live and pay double rent for at minimum the next 3 months (an extreme financial burden in the Bay Area). We're hoping to help fund these efforts and provide some financial security as he is forced to start anew.
