Prayers and help for Kali Fighting Cancer

Hi my name is Sara and Im making this gofundme for my little brother and his beloved dog, Kali. She recently had to undergo emergency surgery after the vet discovered fluid in her belly. What we thought would be a straightforward procedure turned out to be far more serious.

Kali has a heart murmur, which made surgery risky, and she had to be transported to a hospital where she could be monitored overnight. While the vets were able to drain the fluid from her abdomen, they discovered that her stomach was severely inflamed and detected possible signs of cancer. We are now waiting on further test results to confirm. In the meantime, Kali is resting at home with my brother, who has been by her side every step of the way.

As you can imagine, this has already brought on significant expenses, with more likely to come depending on the outcome of her diagnosis. I started this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden for my brother so he can focus on taking care of Kali.

Kali has been a beloved part of our family for the last 5 years. She was found abandoned in Houston, Texas, and my brother brought her back home to Edmonton with him. They have become inseparable. She has brought so much love, comfort, and joy into his life, and now she needs all the love and support she can get in return.
