Hello family, friends, and supporters; As you may know I play womens tackle football. I have been playing since I was 7, and I love the game of football. Since 2012 I have been playing with the DC Divas, A professional womens tackle football team in Washington DC. Since playing it has always been a dream of mine to play on a bigger stage. However, I didn’t think it would be possible due to my injury that occurred in May 2021. If you have been following my journey you have seen that I had a devastating Injury to my femur and hip which also caused nerve damage. The doctors told me I wouldn’t be able to play football ever, and since then I have been working hard to get back on the field. Within 6 months after my surgery, I was able to return to the game that I love, with that being said I was able to attend the WOMENS National Team USA TRYOUTS in March and I made the team! I was 1 of the 45 selected to go out of the country to represent my country and to try to bring back a Gold medal. If you follow womens football you know we cover most of the financial part play, and to make it to Finland in July we have to cover some of the costs, which is why I am raising funds now.
