Hello my name is Pat and I am writing to the GoFundMe sight because it is my last resort for help.

I have been fighting Stage 3b Ovarian cancer involving both the colon and liver since 2013.  A new "wonder" drug came on the market in 2017 which had excellent results during it's trials.

My physician was very excited as was I. My insurance company denied the drug.  We tried the drug which cost $1000 day.  Unfortunately, it became obvious that my body was rejecting it and we had to stop.  It was devastating.

I am no longer the vibrant, independent woman I once was.  I am telling you this as my only income is social security and two hours a week of visiting a woman with dementia when I am able.

My financial assistance is no longer available  and my out of pocket medical expenses have depleted me financially.  My family has helped as much as possible.  I am ineligible  for state subsidies by a margin.

i want my time left on this earth to be focused on my grandchildren and worry free from the stress of keeping it together when I barely am.

I know there are kind, generous and caring people in this world, so I am reaching out to you.  My goal is $25,000.
