Hi, my name is Alex, and I’m a single mother to two wonderful children—my energetic two-year-old and my bright, curious five-year-old. For the past 11 years, I’ve dedicated my life to early childhood education, helping little ones learn, grow, and feel safe. Teaching has always been more than a job to me—it’s been my passion and my purpose.

Recently, my world was turned upside down. After working with the same early education center for 6.5 years, we were given the heartbreaking news that our school will be closing permanently on January 31st, 2026. The notice was sudden and has left me, along with many others, struggling to prepare for the unexpected.

As a single mother, every bit of stability matters. With the holidays approaching and my job ending soon, I’m facing a financial gap that I simply can’t bridge on my own. I’m doing everything I can to secure a new position, but the timing has made things incredibly difficult.
