Many of you know that I have been helping a great feral cat caretaker (Rich W.) in Munhall for a number of years, and you have generously helped him with cat food. Now Rich needs some help for himself. Rich is in his 80's, a Veteran, with some serious health issues, who cuts grass to earn money to care for his own cats and a dozen or so ferals on his property, all of whom have been TNRd. When the owner of the properties where he had worked sold off several of the properties, Rich's income dropped significantly. Recently he had to pay for several unexpected home repairs and emergency Vet care for one of his own cats, and he has ongoing co-pays for his cancer and heart treatments. All of that has virtually exhausted what little savings he had, and he reluctantly reached out for help. He is embarrassed to ask for financial help for himself, but he truly needs it. I know that everyone is stretched thin, but if you can find it in your heart to donate any amount it would be greatly appreciated and would help a truly caring man who has always put his cats first, but who now needs some help for himself.
